Ctorrent and 2.2.9?

Hi all,

Just had a quick question.  I recently got my hands on this sharespace and wanted to update to the latest firmware as the speeds are horride, and I hear some progress has been made on this in 2.2.9. I currently have 2.2.8 but I heard that ctorrent had been pulled due to some issues with XP. Well I run win 7 and Ctorrent works fine for me and I dont want to lose it!

Does ctorrent also come with 2.2.9?

Also, I noticed a patch for 2.2.9 that you use to improve speeds by disabling Samba server signing.  What exactly is this and will I miss it?

Yea, update it for 2.2.9 and apply the path.

After it, check your Task Manager → “Networking” tab and view improve result!

before update: 48 ~ 52% network used.

after update 2.2.9: 88% and up… (if you remove "Limit reservable bandwidth (10% by default) in QoS Packet Scheduler) you will reach to 100% and above if you use gigabit transfer rate, you speed see improved.
