I have tryed the option “Device Security”. Than I set back the “Folder Lock” to “Disable” (and “Parent Control” to “Off”).
But I can not see the before locked folder on my PC. Neither unter “Network” nor as net drive in WinXP-Explorer.
On the WD-Player I can see it.
And second:
The device will not synchronize the USB-HD attached to the Player. I have set "Sync From USB Storage “to” Sync all files. But it won’t. Neither pics, vids or audio nor other files.
Yes, that’s the only way I do, since the player has an ethernet port and you can handle the drives like normal network drives.
Ok. It won’t do it automaticaly. But why does it not copy my .txt from the USB drive to the internal drive?
And why can’t I see the unlocked folder on the internal player drive from the Explorer file manager from LAN? “Network Share Server” is “On” (and DLNA Media Server is on too)
