DNS Server Settings ***PLEASE HELP***

I’ve had two WD HD TV Live’s for the past year or so and have never had any major problems streaming (wired) through my network. I recently had to change to a new router (Linksys WRT120N) and can’t get anything running with the WD box.

My box LAN settings:

IP: 10.0.0.123

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 10.0.0.1

DNS: 10.0.0.1

FYI, 10.0.0.1 is the address of the new router (and the same as the old router.) Whenever I try to “Check Connection”, the system hangs at the “DNS Server” check. I never had this problem with my older DLink router.

Please help!

Have you tried manually entering one of your ISP’s DNS server IP addresses instead of sending DNS to the router to sort out?
