Duplicate thumbnails in video folder

Hi guys,

My setup: Synology NAS with a 2TB shared disc, no media server functionality enabled, but accessed from the WD TV Live using a shared folder. Latest SW on the WD TV Live.

I’ve got a movie folder on the NAS with a bunch of *.iso’s - eg:

Movie1.iso

Movie2.iso

Movie3.iso

…

In the same folder, I’ve placed a bunch of 

Movie1.jpg

Movie2.jpg

Movie3.jpg

…

, and voila I get thumbnails on the *.iso’s when using the thumbnail-mode… Just what I wanted.

BUT - I’ve got duplicate entries, as now all of the *.jpg’s are shown as well, eventhough I access the folder from the “Video”-section from the WD TV Live. So eg. the movie1.jpg image is shown twice (both the image itself and the thumb from the movie1.iso).

I can see that others have reported this previously, but I can’t seem to find a resolution to this. Have any of you guys solved this somehow?

Not so much a solution, but a workaround: Put a DOT in front of the moviename.jpg file.  Like this:

.Movie1.jpg

.Movie2.jpg

…but what a wonderful workaround. Just what I was looking for, thanks a million!  :)
