Error conecting to Live Plus

I just bought a WD TV Live Plus to go with my Hub. My Hub is working great and is hardwired to my Road Runner router. The Live Plus is in the bedroom and has a compatible USB adapter. I know it is compatible becuase it was working on my Hub prior to it being hardwired. I can see my network on the Live Plus but when I go enter my password to get it to go wirelessly I get the following error:   KEY TYPE ERROR    IF YOUR KEY TYPE IS HEX, PLEASE CHECK KEY VALUE IS A-F 0-9.

I have used the same password on my hub and Playstation and have signed in. My password to the router is ######psjr

Am I only allowed to use the letters between A and F ??? According to the error? And if so, why did the Hub take it. Please help. Thank You

Pete

hi

seems the wireless key protection is not the seme [pls check those options : aes/wpa2/tkp] in your case.

what is your wifi standard : a / b / g / n  ?

all devices [normally] shall use/share the same standard and key [depends on the router which seed the wifi signal around]

In case anybody runs into the problem that I had, my ISP rovider had set up my security to WPA 2 personal. The Netgear USB adaptor did not want to play nice with the WPA2. I called them and they changed the security to WPA1 and we are back running. Also, the Netgear adaptor will also work with the WEP security. Thanks
