Folder.jpg

don’t have anything called ‘1.metathumb’ and this is how i have mine if it helps

Mine are all metathumbs named after the movie i.e GLADIATOR.metathumb and they are all 185 pixels wide x 278 pixels high and range from 17.5kb to 29kb. I do know that my SMP would not show them if they were too large in kb size. I downloaded some of my images from the net as jpg, resized them then changed the extension (in windows explorer) to metathumb, worked ok then.

For folder jpg I made them same size in pixels and no bigger than about 29kb

Cheers

is good for adding pictures and does the re-sizing for you. never had probs using it

folder jpg’s work as long as there are no wdtv created metathumbs with it. thats the point of this thread. it was suggested that in those cases we rename the folder.jpg to 1.metathumb to fool the wdtv into using it. it works for some but not for me so im trying to figure out why. Thank you for all of the responses.

Me 2, waiting for solution, thread posted, but no reply, maybe SMP Firmware 1.07.15 doesnt support Coverart on Movie folder? i am appreciate to those who willing to share the way of doing it…

thanks in advance
