Folders not syncronizing

Hi,

I’m a new owner of an Ex2 Ultra MyCloud device and have trouble understanding how things work.

My question is: if I add a folder under the synchronized folder on my laptop, I guess I should be able to see it right away on the relevant MyCloud account by logging into it on-line right?

Well, if I do so … I don’t see the folder on-line. Why is this?
