… I kinda suspect that if they’d known this from the start, the HUB would only have 10/100, since it obviously added additional cost to the unit to design in a Realtek GBE controller… Probably about $5 or $10 additional HW.
Maybe WD got tired of the complaints and just said "Here ya go… "
