HD Configuration after power shutdown lost. How to restore without formatting the drives?

Hi there, after an power shutdown the main page of the local dashboard shows zero data capacity. None of the harddisks are shown in the raid profile.
I got the following notification message:
“File System Check Failed
File system check has detected errors on your drive configuration. Backup your data and recreate the drive configuration to resolve these errors. Code: 36”

Disk status tells me thet the HDs are in good condition. Problem is, when I try to reconfigure the HDs, OS 5 gives me no opportunity to do this without formatting the drives, which means, Im going to loose all my stored data. The fact, that the drives are encrypted, doesnt makes it easyer. Otherwise I would connect the drives to my PC to backup them.

Any solutions?

Hi @Rincewind

Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the WD Technical Support team for the best assistance and troubleshooting:

Hi! Yes, I did. The solution (which I feared it is) is to remove the harddisks, do a backup on another PC one by one, put them back, mount them back into the JBOD configuration and copy back the data. All of that because the WD developers forgot to implement the option to configure a JBOD ( which consists of independent HD`s contrary to a RAID system) without formatting.
