Help ~ Unit seems to have stopped working

After working perfectly for about 2 months, about a week ago I tried to turn the WD TV Live on but simply got a blank screen (the setup hadn’t been fiddled with at all). I’ve had the same result every time since. It powers up, the power LED stays on (not blinking), and it seems to recognise the USB HDD plugged into it (the HDD powers up and starts blinking as if it’s doing something), but there is no signal getting to the TV. Nothing at all - as if nothing’s even plugged in. I’ve tried different inputs and that doesn’t seem to make any difference.

Any thoughts?

How are you connected to the TV. Try using the composite video output.

Unplug the HDD and reset via the side paperclip button with the unit on.

Thanks for your help… I had tried using the reset button and unplugging the unit for a short amount of time, and this was unsuccessful. However I eventually figured out that after leaving the unit unplugged for an extended period (I left it unplugged for an hour or so, whereas previously I had only left it a few minutes), it seemed to work fine.

I will advise if I have any further issues that can’t be resolved so easily…
