How to backup & access to "My Cloud EX2 Ultra" from the internet

Hi,
I want to access to the My cloud drive (My Cloud EX2 Ultra) via the internet for backing up computers or for accessing data stored on the drive but not through the browser (I prefer to map a shared drive). I have not found any solution or a software to do so, I would be more then happy if anyone has step by step tutorial.
B.t.w - Does my drive come in OS 5?
Should I need to upgrade?

Thank you very much “cat0w”,
I have seen these articles, but I am looking to connect to the drive via the internet and then I can do mapping (I know how to find the Device IP and how to map it on a local network).
Regarding the backup - the intention is to back up to the drive from different computers through the Internet and not the other way around, in the link you referred to from at least what I understood it is a guide on how to back up the cloud drive to another location.
