How to Delete ISO Share?

Hi,

How to delete an ISO Share (created a long time ago as a test)? When I try to delete it, I receive the message “The shared entry cannot be deleted because it is still in use. To delete the entry, stop access to the shared entry”. I cannot determine how it is still in use.

Thank you,

AR

@Allan_Read How are you trying to delete it, in the Dashboard? Do you own a My Cloud???

Yes, I own a WDMyCloudEx2. I am trying to delete via the MyCloud dashboard:

Settings
Utilities
ISO Share List, Select Folder then Delete…then message

Thank you,

AR

You may want to see the dedicated EX2 subforum where users more familiar with the EX2 series may have additional suggestions or where there may be past discussions on how to remove stubborn Shares.

The current subforum we are in (My Cloud) is generally for the single bay/single drive My Cloud units which may behave differently than the EX2 when it comes to deleting stubborn Shares that cannot be or are not removed through the My Cloud Dashboard. For single bay users we can try to use SSH to access the My Cloud at the root level to try and remove a Share that refuses to be removed through the My Cloud Dashboard.

Thank you.
