I understand WD sync software will sync between MyCloud unit and all computers which have also installed WD sync software. But what about the mobile devices in the local network, how will they be synced? There is no Sync software for mobile devices , only MyCloud mobile app ?!?!

You can backup certain media from your mobile device using the WD My Cloud app for Android or iOS.

While FTP isn’t secure one could use a Android sync app that supports FTP for remote syncing. Or any Android app that supports syncing over the local network to the My Cloud.
