How to upload a zipped file received via email on an iPad

I would like to download a trip journal and photos to mycloud. The archive is in a zipped file. How do I set up mycloud so that I can save this file?

I dont typically use iDevices-- that caveat aside-- take a look at FileExplorer.

step 1) Unzip the archive.
Step 2) Upload the unzipped files to the NAS using something like FileExplorer.

If this was an android device, I would suggest TotalCommander, which can read directly out of the zip file. and copy and extract on the fly at the same time to the mycloud’s SMB share.

I dont know if FileExplorer can do that. It might, I just dont know for sure. What it WILL do is let you copy files from your ipad to/from your MyCloud over the local LAN.

I downloaded FE. However, when I tried to download the archive, it went directly to mycloud and told me that mycloud couldn’t handle the process. What do I do to make the FE and mycloud work together? Thanks so much for the help. I am new to all of this.

When you try to open it or download it does iPad give you a choice of where to open or download.

My computers are Windows but I know I have zipped files saved on my My Cloud. See image below. Click on, tap or activate image to enlarge it.
