Hub is restarting randomly

Since few days, my hub is restarting itself when i am navigating in the menu. It is a hard restart, with new library update.

It is not happening when watching a movie.

I tried to unplug the device and to disconnect from internet, but still rebooting alone.

Any help welcome to troubleshoot this issue.

I believe you’re seeing a firmware bug in 3.03.xx.   Same bug in the SMP version 1.07.xx.

If you are, the only remedy is to roll back the firmware.

I would try flashing it again. If you did an over the internet update to get to 3.03, then I would definately flash it again. This time do it from a USB stick.

If you DO try it again:

BEFORE you flash it do a factory reset, I would use the reset button on the bottom of the Hub.

AFTER you flash it do another factory reset the same way.

If that didn’t fix it THEN I would roll back. You have nothing to loose but a little time and a lot to gain if it works.

I have the same problem and, like Tony, I believe it is a firmware bug.
