Issue with setup

Hello, I was in the process of setting up my WD mycloud 4TB storage device last night, not realizing that there was an update going on and therefore effecting the login page. I have tried going through the setup process tonight and have received errors that state the device is already setup, but I cannot log onto it. I have reset the system doing the 40 second press and continued to try the setup, but it is not working correctly with the continued issues above. I would like assistance and will be calling the helpline tomorrow, however i figured I would try here tonight to see if there is anything quick that can be done.

Have you tried login as “admin” and no password?

Have you already placed files on the My Cloud before the firmware update?

What version of My Cloud do you have … Gen1 with firmware 4.xx or Gen2 with firmware 2.xx?

If files were already stored on the My Cloud then the system is probably busy scanning after the update.

What errors are you getting?
