Some people seem to want to mash Joeys 2 excellent projects together including myself
Some people also wanted list view fixed for music. I have implemented this fix following Joeys instructions.
There were also some placement of images and text on some of the other views. I have corrected this too
I have only merged his JSMOD-Color with both the Dark and the White Aeon-ish screens.
I did not do the JSMOD-Grain or Dark

- metadata\_view\_info.xml - Show Movie coverart correctly for Gallery view[image top left when pressing "options" then "view info" while movie is playing]
I personally do not use the tmgd file. it is not needed. some people like these as gues its easier to transition from sheet to sheet or something like that.
You do need the mkv as it is the movie. but you are missing the .xml(the movie data)
And the .jpg(the moviesheet itself)
In thumbgen options input/output you need movieinfo export set to .xml and hub format
Then you need main moviesheet set to .jpg
In the general tab check mark “movie nformation” and “main moviesheet”
Also you can also use Joeys templates. they are the same as mine, just a few placement changes.
And yes Joeys theme works best if all movies are in the folders together.
I have folders for drama, action, comedy, kids, etc. then all the movies are directly in the respective folders.
Have done most of my movies, and apart from my inexperience with Thumbgen and the Plot of the films being to long for the majority of the boxes, have tweaked and learnt a lot about them both.
Started doing TV series last night, same again, Thumbgen just needed the reqd tweaks that I learnt from this and some other of your posts.
So final thing really for this setup. I obviously keep the TV series inside their own folder, whats the best way to get a matching nice looking thumb for the TV series that will look as good as the Movie thumbs ?
Thanks again for all you and others have done for the Hub.
chick "thumbs tab at the bottom [red box]. Green box would be the Series folder thumb. Blue box would be Season folder thumb. Only need to generate them once manually by pressing the button. then they stay there and cover the that folder through all episodes you add. They generate from the “Cover” section at the top which you will have to change to the image you want, then generate. change the image again, and generate the 2nd one.
Been having a play with the Movie template. I found a Bluray Case PNG, as I was sick of the inconsistencies with various Bluray Cases from Bluray.com. (I did try and download the Mega Pack 1.8 from various WDTV sites, but the links are all dead.)
Anyway, I removed the reflection at the bottom, lowered the font size in the movie plot, and changed the Movie screen to sepia, I quite like the look myself.
edit - just found Mega Pack 2.0…lots of stuff to play with there…
That mega template pack 2.0 has given me lots of toys to play with, only problem I have is I have to reverse engineer things, as I don’t have a clue about the Themes themselves…
I quite like this simple look as well, also I moved all the info tabs at the bottom left a bit, and it gets rid of the little glitch of a side of an info box appearing on the lower thumbs.
Two things I would like to do though, are
Get rid of the annoying green folder (I wish the Thumb selected would go upto the large black icon at the top as well)
and select a different font colour for the names at the bottom, as unless you have a really darw wallpaper, you can’t see what it says.
I think it would be a good idea to create a separate post dedicated to MOVIESHEETS!!! so that we don’t clutter Joey’s thread.
Hope people agree.
All i am going to do for this instant is create a blank post, for people to add to, cos at the moment I dont have the time to write a worthy Introduction and synopsis for the post, but will do soon.
I will also have something positive to add later!!Â
Thanks, but in reality, I’m only playing with about 2 % of it.
I must admit even when I had the WDTV 1, TG scared me off, but its suprising with a little help and a play about, its not too bad. The options are frightening though, could do with half of them blanked out for a novice like me. :smileyvery-happy:
