Couple of questions regarding the theme and Folder Image max sizes.

  1. What is the maximum size a folder.jpg/png can be to fill the black box down the bottom ?

(I tweaked the cover/glass picture size and there is a black border round the sides.

  1. Whats the max size a folder.jpg/png can be for best resolution in the lower tabs for TV series folder icons ?

Still been playing about with the Movie sheet


Got lucky with the Bluray cover, and its just the way I like it, other stuff looking good as well.

The Bluray cover comes up with no border and a nice highlight

This is the latest look I have been playing with, just tweaking some faded backgrounds, so you can read the text better on lighter pictures

It does depend though, some movies have more info than others.

I will have a play with cast and stuff after as well :slight_smile:

Its hard work after a while, it goes a lot lighter on the screen. The text is good on 90% of pictures, but if you get one thats too busy, then its a bit iffy. Maybe expecting too much, but its a fine line to matting the text down and losing the picture


Heres a wierd thing tho, just before the WD screensaver logo pops up, you get a full screen backdrop of the movie

Hi everyone,

I tried to use this theme, but it doesn’t work. I install this theme and use the folder demo (folder that was made by joey) but don’t work.

The moviesheet is not displayed and the movie thumbnail doesn’t appear correctly.

What is wrong?

Some of the views do not display correctly.

Are you using gallery view.

you have to make sure you have the vid file. the xml file and the moviesheet(jpg) file. also need to extract the theme to the theme folder and and apply it.

Plus all files need to be together.

Yes, i made everything correctly, btw the first gallery view, released on 03-15-2011 works fine, but this one doesn’t work.

Take a photo of your TV and upload a ‘Picture’  of your problem.

It helps to take a lot of the “guess work” away from    “It doesent work” .

We are all here to help 
 but more info,visuals,videos or whatever
 help people here in giving you assistance.

I downloaded the ‘download’ i provided
 and Gallery works fine with the supplied demo folders.

(please remember, the 1st Version, the sheets and demo folders are ‘different’ to the 2nd Version)

P.S. What im currently working on (but have yet to release) is not compatible with any of my previous stuff.

Idea,Concept which required a new moviesheet design. (personally i always generate .tgmd files with thumbgen. which allows a quick ‘regeneration of sheets’ i have 75 movies in 7-8 minutes with a new design’
