Lost my Shared Videos directory

I was uploading some movies from my PC to my WD My Cloud 4TB when I realised they were going into the wrong directory.

I tried to move them down to the Shared Videos directory and it just disappeared. I haven’t moved it to any other destination (I’ve looked in all the others).

Anyone know how to get it back? It’s got a whole bunch of other videos in it which are already catalogued on my HTPC.

Any help much appreciated.

try to find the “lost” folder from ssh and then move them wherever you want with the mv command

Unfortunately, I’m a total newbie to this and don’t know how to use SSH. Besides, I got this warning when I tried to turn it on:

“Please note that modifying or attempting to modify this device outside the normal operation of the product voids your WD warranty.”

I finished uploading and restarted the My Cloud explorer and it reappeared.

 

Happy again!
