Lower capacity after factory reset

Greetings,

I just solved a problem with my MyCloud via factory reset (could not copy files to or from the device, speed owuld drop to 0 KB/S after a few seconds and device disconnected and needed to be turned of and on again to work again) and now I have a new one:

The empty 4TB MyCloud says (on the dashboard) to have only 2,9TB of free space. Videos, Music, Photos all show 0KB and “Others” show 810 MB. Still only 2.9 are shown as availyble an Windows says: 2,62 of 2,68 TB.

Anyone an idea what could be wrong?

I did the factory reset 2 times (the long one). When I saved my files via FTP (that worked while the normal copying didn’t) the device disconnected every minute but since it really stalled the other way I was just happy that the files could be saved.

Go to Settings tab>Media>Rescan. Be sure to read the information provided.

Both buttons (rescan and rebuild) give the same result:

Media Music Tracks: 0 Pictures: 0 Videos: 0
