Hi Team;

I’m a proud owner of a WD TV Live (the grey one) always have worked well from USB.

This christmas i have bought a WD My Cloud 2Tb to stream movies all over the house.

But my WD TV doesn’t see subtitles when i use media server option it only sees subtitles when i choose media sharing.

But when i use media sharing the movies are allways “freezing”

Is this a limitation from thw WD TV or from My Cloud.

Any solutions?

Hello,

Subtitles do not work with media server unless they are embedded with the movie file.

Subtitles do work but the DLNA client needs to be able to find them.  Most DLNA clients will automatically find the subtitle when in the same directory and named the exact same as the file.
