Movie thumb nails? (again...)

Sorry to keep bombarding you guys with the same questions, it’s just that I still haven’t found the solution to my particular problem (Keep changing my configurations/ and everytime I do, I drop the ball somewhere. But my problem is:

I have over 1000+ MKV files stored on my 3TB NAS and want to view the movies on my WDTV PLUS in a separate room. But the problem that I’m running into is that the WDTV PLUS will not display the movie poster thumbnails. Even when the view is listed as THUMBNAIL view. The thumbnails are formatted correctly, and all the thumbnails or in the correct folders with the movie as well as a TXT file for the movie description. They display perfectly for my WDTV HUB in my bedroom. It’s just when I’m getting to the living room, with the WDTV PLUS…they don’t display.

PLEASE HELP! I tried viewing the movies in both MEDIA SERVERS and NETWORK SHARE modes… still nothing in either. But just so you know, when I do go to NETWORK SHARE mode, I click on the NAS and it comes up as “PHOTOS” and “VIDEOS” under the video selection! And I see all the Thumbnails there under “PHOTOS” completely separate from the movie files.

The MOVIES are playing PERFECTLY fine, just need to see the thumbnails while browsing… ANY INSIGHT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Thanks in advance everyone.

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
