Moviesheets randomly stopped working

iv been working through all my movies and tv series lately with Thumbgen using Kudos V4. It has been working greatand i end up with these files:

Skyfall (2012) (jpg file)

Skyfall (2012) (mkv)

Skyfall (2012).mkv_sheet (jpg file)

Skyfall (2012) (XML file)

and it works perfectly, looking amazing.

But now im working through my Disney movies using the same theme, creating the same file structure as listed above, but all i am getting now is a plain black screen.

Hi, you also need to edit the xml file to tell it the name of the picture file that you want used as the backdrop (moviesheet).

Open the XML file using a text editor like notepad, and if you scroll to the bottom there may already be a section called .  If not, then create one. This is where you add the name of the file.

i have never had to do that for the last 500 movies :S but i will give it a try

Sorry my bad, I didn’t read the part where you said you were using Thumbgen, and I thought you were doing these manually :dizzy_face:  Thumbgen does that for you.

Make sure that the name of the file in the section of the xml matches EXACTLY with the name of actual jpg file  (no extra spaces etc) and that you are in gallery view.

Have you updated  to ThumbGen 1.3.9.2

i checked the xml and the part is listed completely differently. any idea why its suddenly started doing that?

and yes i did update thumbgen and it changed my settings, but i cant find anything that would cause this…but then i dont have a clue what to look for :S

re-install the Thumbgen “bundle” that came with Kudos Theme  or …

In Thumbgen “Options”

Options > Input/Output Naming > Main Moviesheet > $M$N_sheet

Options > Movie Info > Store links to moviesheets (the current settings for moviesheets will be used)

ok i have made the two changes you suggesting in the Thumbgen settings…still not working, so now im going to reinstall the bundle :confused:

great… looks like its working again guy. thanks so much for the help. much appreciated!! the thought of having to start from scratch would be unbareable lol
