Which My Cloud model do you have? Generally the single bay/single drive My Cloud models, the general subject of this subforum, do not support or have a Recycle Bin option in the Dashboard.
Just noticed, that when I attempt to delete e.g. Smartware_10 the share is not deleted, instead a new share, in this case Smartware_33 is created.

You may want to see the dedicated EX2 subforum where others more familiar with the EX2 may be able to assist, or search that subforum using the magnifying glass icon upper right to see if others have had similar issues and if there was a solution.
