Music skips for a few seconds then resumes

I share folders via a network drive and all my movies play great.  Trying to set up my music this way and I have a problem with every song although the skipping is random.  I tried getting the music through Tversity media player and the same thing happens.

I’ve searched the boards and haven’t found anyone with a similar problem.

Any suggestions?

There is a chance that the format of your music files might not be supported by the SMP.  For a list of supported formats you can check the user manual.
