I can’t access anymore to my Mybook 4 To drive, it doesnt want to go on. But when I connect the internal hard drive directly to my pc, it does work. The problem is I have two partitions on it, one is defined and the other not and I can’t access to a file system to trying to recover my files. Can anybody help me with this problem?

I had the same issue. In order to save my backup on the WD drive I took the internal drive and put it in another purchased enclosure. My cost for the tech and the new enclosure. WD said I could return it but then I would have to pay the tech again to take the internal drive out of the new enclosure and put it back in the “still under warranty not working WD enclosure”. Also when I tried to contact WD by replying to their email, I got a reply saying that no reply to this mailbox…twice.
Overall, don’t buy a WD book and if you do, the warranty mean nothing…and WD does NOT stand behind their products. I have bought WD drives many times but never again.
