My book world edition don't power up

Hi,

i have found a my book world edition blue ring .There aren’t hard disk inside it.

I have power up it and attached it to the network,but i  can’t see it.

When i power up the blue ring flashed for a very short time and then the blue light remain off.

It is necessary for power up ,that the nas contains one disk ?

The nas is broken ? thanks.

when you say you’ve ‘found’ one without any HDD inside I don’t see why it would work as the drive has data stored on it for it to work.

i tried to put a serial ata disk inside but i can’t connect to nas.

Blue ring is not on

i tried to make a ping but i can’t see nothing
