My Book World Edition (White Light) keeps dropping connection

Hi everyone

I have a My Book World Edition (White Light edition) that keeps dropping connection.  It will be deteceted on the network and access OK, then after a while it is no longer seen.  So far, I have been removing the power cable for 5-10 seconds, re-attaching and then (most of the time) it is recognised again.

Is there anything I can do to check this out and ideally rectify the problem?

I’d suggest setting a static IP configuration and replacing the power adapter with assistance from WD Support:
