This has been covered before but i can’t see what is causing my “my cloud” not to sleep. i have turned off Remote access, NTP server, time machine, DLNA and itunes server. Updated to the latest firmware. Disconnected everything on the network except the my cloud left it over night and it still would not got to sleep. The light continues to stay solid blue and i can hear the hdd/fan running. Content scan says idle and there is only a hand full of files on the drive. Any help would be great.
i have tried power cycling the wd my cloud but the my cloud still won’t sleep. I didn’t know there was a reset pin on the back, i will give it a reset using a paper clip tonight and report back.
I tried the reset with a paper clip but it still wouldn’t sleep. So i backed up the data and did a quick restore and now it sleeps after about 10 mins :D. Finally… was starting to think i would never get it to sleep.
