Mybl duo not working after router upgrade -- cannot connect to network

after the router upgrade, the mybl is unable to connect to my new network with the following address block 192.168.0.xxx.  the previous address block was 192.168.1.xxx.

after much exploring on the knowledge base, i reconnected the mybl to my old router and lone behold, it is working.

seems to me that the dhcp for the mybl is not renewed thus the bricking effect.

is there anyway, we can ‘tickle’ the mybl to enable a refresh of the ip ?

Everytime you connect MBL to a new router, if set to DHCP, it will get an IP on whatever the new router/DHCP server is set to.

It seems you have other issues non-related to DHCP. However, when connected to new router, find out the IP it gets from the router DHCP leases table and use that IP to connect to such as:

For internet browser: http://192.168.0.22

For Windows Explorer (NOT IE): \192.168.0.22

are you certain that the MBL is set to dynamic IP address?  If it is set to static, then it will result in exactly the symptoms you are describing.

Connect to the old router, then look in Dashboard → Network to see if it is Dynamic or Static.

If it is dynamic and you are still having these symptoms, then i suggest hooking up to the old router, and changing the setting to static, but using the IP address appropriate for the new router.
