MyCloud 2. Connecting MyBookLive

Firstly, I’m assuming that I can’t connect MyBookLive to MyCloudHome, only MyCloud. Is this correct?

Secondly, the device is not accessible through the portal.

MyBookLive is powered on, and directly wired to the router, flashing green lights on the back next to the network port and the power light at the front is flashing green.

However the portal shows it offline

I can access through the Finder (Mac OS 11.1) but I can’t do admin tasks like manage users, delete folders, reformat disk

You should be able to access the settings by logging into the MBL with a browser. Just use the IP of the MBL in the browser. Once logged in you can do what you want. And yes the cloud is no longer accessible for the MBL.
