I have full access to my MBL which is connected to my home wifi via my broadband router. I can access photos via WD Photos on my iPhone but it doesn’t appear in My Cloud. I’ve followed the Guide Me sequence and typed in http://mybooklive.local but the page just hangs and does nothing. I can’t get to the dashboard or find any software that allows me to run it. I’ve tried installing the Drive Utilities software following all the instructions and it keeps telling me to drag the icon into and run it from the Applications folder. Well I’ve done that a number of times and it keeps giving me the same message. I’m running MacOS Sierra btw. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Hi, you don’t need any software to access the drive dashboard. If by using the name is not accessing then you should be able to access it using the IP, you can get the IP address from your routers user interface.
Another thing hat you can try is to reset the drive by pressing the reset button in the back of the drive.
