Can anyone tell me if WD Red Plus drives are compatible with the WD EX2 Ultra? I have an 8Tb NAS and have already suffered a Red drive failure. I gather Red Plus drives use CMR recording (which is more robust than SMR on a Red drive)?
Also, can I mix a Red drive in one bay and a Red Plus in the other bay? Just trying to avoid replacing both drives at same time.
