MyCloud is showing offline. It was fine when I first set it up about a month ago. Now, I can login, but cannot access the Dashboard. It says to update firmware, but when I click on settings, it says MyCloud is offline. There does not seem to be an answer in the FAQ’s. I’m using Windows 10, and it is updated as of today.
Please note that accessing MyCloud.com is not accessing the My Cloud Dashboard. They are two different web addresses. The Dashboard is accessed on the local network. The MyCloud.com user portal (which the screen capture indicates) is used for remote access to the My Cloud files/Shares.
If one has the WD mobile apps installed and configured they can try those apps to see if they can connect remotely to their My Cloud. If those apps also cannot access the My Cloud remotely then one will have to access the My Cloud Dashboard while connected to their local network where the My Cloud resides to see why Remote Access is not working. Sometimes just rebooting/power cycling the My Cloud is enough to fix certain problems. Other times one has to cycle the My Cloud Dashboard Remote Access option to fix the problem. Other times, depending on the My Cloud Dashboard configuration, one has to ensure that their router/gateway is properly forwarding ports to the My Cloud or has UPnP enabled.
