I have an older G5 imac that has used My Book and smartware in the past. The system sees the drive and I can get the files from it, but I can’t set it to back up again. I can’t find an older version of the smartware software to use on this computer

Do you have Time Machine? Have you read the User Manual for your version of My Cloud?
