My WDTVLIVEHUB is wired to my router. I have a Sony Bravia TV with the Sony wifi usb adapter. This is a new tv so this setup has never worked before. I can see and play movies through a laptop if I connect it to the TV. I turned DLNA Server on the live hub. I can get the TV to see the hub but none of the media is showing. I enabled Twonky and same problem, no movies or music or etc. Not sure what I’m missing here?
Sony Bravia’s don’t support a whole lot of different media. Make sure your TV’s DLNA client supports the media type you’re trying to view.
Ok, I forgot to mention that the media is on a external drive connected to the wdtvlivehub. When I first connected my tv to my wireless network some media files showed up. Nothing changed and now everything is gone. not sure this makes a difference?
