I have tried to reinstalling the WD Photo app twice, re-installed MyBook Live 2TB. Cleared the app cashe, removed the ‘remote access’ tick and saved, tehn applied tick and saved again. All this has not helped. I still can’t see any photos on my ipad/iphone.
Any thoughts?
Is the Mionet Link active on the WD My Book Live Dashboard with remote access allowed for pictures on the Public share?

Do you have to have the premium subscription for this app to work?
I’ve read that you can’t have remote access without the subscription.
“Click the Subscribe Now button to upgrade to full MioNet functionality. When your trial period expires, you will be downgraded to MioNet Basic functionality, which does not support remote access to your resources or the ability for you to share with others. You can still access folders and webcams shared with you by others and you can remotely access your own information within the home or other local network. Click Subscribe Now for full functionality.”
This would be why it isnt working right?

This would be why it isnt working right?
No you don’t, only the free version is needed but the MBW, SS, MBL or Hub need to have the Mionet link active. You still need to subscribe, but to the free version, then you need to activate the service on the web configuration page of your NAS.
