I’ve had issues from almost day 1 with My Cloud Home. I open the Android app and it goes through some steps (connecting to device, preparing backup, etc). Sometimes it never gets past “preparing backup”. If it does, it starts syncing a few photos and then will say something like “2272 photos syncing” and will never go past this number. Even if the app runs for hours. I’ve rebooted numerous times. I’ve un-installed the app and reinstalled it. I’ve force stopped and cleared cache. I’ve copied all photos from the phone to My Cloud by connecting to my PC. Even though all photos have been added to My Cloud, when I open the Android app, it says it’s syncing all 2300+ photos (not sure if that’s expected behavior. I expected it to sync only new photos that aren’t already on My Cloud.)
Please, any suggestions to get the Android app to sync? As it stands, I have a very, very expensive external hard drive, not a cloud system.
