I HAVE OPENED A CASE ABOUT ONE OF MY HARD DRIVES WHIS IS STILL IN A 3 YEARS WARRENTY TIME… NO RESPONSE YET. PLEASE PAY YOUR KIND AND QUICK ATTENTION TOWARDS MY MATTER… below
Once my western digital hdd made some sort of noise suddenly while I was working on a software. just after the sound, my pc got stuck and it did nothing even for a couple of hours. so I restarted the machine and I counldn’t find my HDD in bios menu. I was scared a lot about my 40Gb of data. so I did everything to solve this problem changing sata power and data cables, before returning it to claim my warrenty (since my private data is in it.) Fortunately once it showed in bios menu nearly after 500 attempts of restarting in 3 weeks and I backed up my data in to another external hard disk. From that date it works normally and after 45 minutes or nearby time that sound starts to begin. Even it did not start. my graphic designing softwares like photoshop and illustrator won’t install on this drive…when I attempt to install any complex software, that sound starts and it opens nothing. when a film or video is playing, it stucks in some situation… I have not spent even 4months with my new hard drive, I am very sad about this situation. I checked this drive with many HDD error checking programs, but nothing made me happy. Now I hate this, please give me a solution… I contacted you western digital team before giving it to the place I bought it, in an idea of obtaining a very satisfactory result…
