No, that’s not normal.
Make sure the 3.5mm plug is COMPLETELY inserted into the WDTV.
Make sure the color RCA jacks match colors correctly.
Make sure the COLOR-SPACE setting (RGB / YUV) matches what your TV expects. Most TV’s want YUV.
If that doesn’t address the issue, then try this:
Remove ONE RCA PLUG at a time from your TV. Does the picture change with all three? Or is there one plug that does NOT change the image when it’s removed? If so, which plug is it?
Hi
Ya . I figured that out. Now the problem can be in 3 areas .
-
The WD TV Live player
-
The cables
-
The sony TV.
How to detect that.
And again I cannot test it in the old CRT . TV It had component jacks but do not sup[port progressive.
And Wd tv starts with 480p.
Can anybody suggest anything?
Well, if your TV only supports 480i, then you must use composite. You have no choice.
Actually, you could use a Video Scaler… but that will cost much money.
Hi all
Thanks for your support
The issue has been resolved . There was a problem with my display unit.
WV TV Live seems to be fine
