I have a WD My Cloud Mirror which works perfectly, is ot used a lot a stores not more than 1 terabytes.
Yesterday I had a power outage and the disk was not doing anything at this time and never received any physical shock. Also, it was not much used.
When the power came back, the disk restarted and since since time the top blue LED is lit (Fixed) and the two other blue LEDs are flashing at high speed and different rythms as if the RAID disks were rebuilding.
Also, the disk is not visible on the home network and does not answer to PINGs (From Windows and Linux).
What do you think, please ?
A power failure can affect the volume’s integrity if there was an important task being handled when the unit lost power. If the unit is still behaving the same way after 48 hours I’d recommend contacting WD Support about this.
Two days now, exactly the same behavior: The on/off blue led is lit. The two disks blue leds are flashing just like disk access. I can feel the disks vibrating.
Why does it take two days and why it does not connect to the network ?
Should I take the risk to switch it on/off ? But what if it restarts the RAID rebuilding ?
After two days of rebuilding the disk, it is finally running (although the leds are still flashing even if I do not access the disk).
This delay is really excessive.
