With my WDMyCloud EX, red steady light was on for a while. Was using Cobian backup to the NAS. Had been getting drive full messages on Cobian.
Tried to address this, not quite sure how I possibly could have used all that data, but have seen on here sometimes the backups create too much data.
I could see the NAS in Windows Explorer and file directories. I attempted to delete some data, which is painfully slow, and not certain recycle bin is not activated.
I am prepared to do a factory reset, wipe all data, and start fresh but cannot. Sometimes I get to the dashboard ribbon after sign in page in browser, sometimes not. But, when I get that far, regardless of browser page freezes so can’t access any functions or attempt other assessment. I did a 4 sec reset and same thing.
There must be a way to wipe this thing back to factory without dashboard, but I can’t find it anywhere. Anybody have any ideas?
