Reset router to factory settings now performance issue with My Cloud

I recently had to reset my router to fix an issue between the router and my switch.
After doing that, my laptop is not able to connect to the NAS device when the laptop is on ethernet (hard wired) but works as expected when the laptop is on WiFi, strange but true.
Prior to resetting the router this issue was not occurring. I could have the laptop on WiFi or ethernet and performance was the same.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance

Hi @hks200,

Please refer to the following steps:

  • Check if your laptop Ethernet port is working or not.
  • Try connecting another computer to the router and accessing the device from that computer.
  • LED status of the Ethernet port on the router, My cloud device and your laptop.

Turns out I had the My Cloud plugged into the switch on the giga bit port and My Cloud wasn’t able to utilize that. When I moved it to the 100 mega bit port that resolved the issue. Is this expected behavior?
