Secure folder sharing on my cloud home

Hi,
I have recently bought a My Cloud Home 6T. I am on a Mac and when I go to share a folder I can only share an unsecured link to that folder, so anyone with that link can access it. Is there a way to create specific user access with read or read and write access to a folder so I can add and delete users when I need?
