Sonos music system can't access share

Since just updating to OS5, my Sonos music system cannot access my share folder that stores all my digital music files. It always worked fine with WD OS3.

Try to change SMB settings in dashboard network settings. Try SMB2, SMB3 first, if it does not budge try SMB1, SMB2, SMB3

thanks for your suggestion. I found the other Sonos topic in this group. Already tried that. NONE of the SMB choices fix the problem. Apparently, in the other topic train, someone from WD said they are planning some kind of firmware fix this but did not mention “when” we would see that. WD needs to address this issue ASAP because my expensive Sonos system is totally unusable now. I’m sure other networking systems that need to access the NAS are similarly affected too.

I had the exact same problem.
Changing my SMB settings to “SMB1, SMB2, SMB3” has solved it for me.
