I bought the MBL a month ago. And everything is working fine, except not showing the pictures on my Philips TV 32pfl7605h. I only get thumbnails. It’s a problem well known bij WD! Also with some other brands, like LG. An update of the firmware with the latest Twonky might solve it. That’s what the email of the support say to me… It’s not for sure…
But when do they update it… ?? It’s a long time ago, the latest update!
The pictures on TV is one of the reasons I bought the product!!
WD, PLEASE… let you’re guys update the firmware and find a solution for the problem, more people are complaining about it.
BTW: The rest of the WDL is working fine, and I am happy with that part of it.
_ UPDATE: WD Support answered on my mail: try disabling Twonky-server. Mayby pictures do show up. I tried, but then TV doesn’t find anything at all._
And they say that they can’t promise a new version of Twonky in the future. So for the moment, they can’t fix my problem.
_ Conclusion: I have to deal with it, or I have to find my own solution._
