I assume you can open the drive in explorer.
Can you see the drive information if you hover over the quick view icon.
Did you use the mycloud setup program.
This is the drive information when i hover over the icon.
It got detect my drive but keep stuck on this screen when i use the setup program.
I have totally same problem. Please help me out!
I found that a hard reset with the 4 second press of the button on the back using a paper clip worked for me

is connected directly to a router DGN2200v3 with network cable.
All the LEDs are turned correctly, including the blue one.
From the computer resources is possible to access the disk, but it is impossible to access the dashboard either via ip, which http://wdmycloud/.

Yes, the router is connected to the same way of my cloud.
I never managed to log in, I purchased it yesterday.
My pc is with windows 8, I tried to use a portable, always connected with cable, installed windows 7 but nothing.
Eeven the MyCloud app for ipad can not connect.
Already tried to shut down for 20 minutes and reconnect, plus some reset (either on or off from).
explorer and chrome result in “can not display the page”.
If I log in to 192.168.0.10:9000, I visualize correctly the Twonky server.
could be a firmware problem?
can be update the firmware without access to the dashboard?
so better open a ticket for replacement?
