I am looking at KB article 5800 and trying to downgrade my firmware. I have firmware 1.04.10_B and am having issues with PlayOn.
In my settings menu, I do not have an icon for “New Firmware Found”.
Any suggestions for how I downgrade?

You must download the rollback firmware from the page above, either 1.03.49_B or 1.03.29_B. These firmware downloads have been modified to allow you downgrade without any problems.
Add the 3 files within the zip file to the root of a USB fash drive and plug it into the WDTV. The firmware found icon should then appear.
I assume that you have a Live Plus as you have mentioned the _B firmware. If you have a Live use the _V firmware.
