I have two WDTV Live Streaming boxes. Is it possible to connect a USB HDD to one of the units and enable sharing on it, then on the second Live Streaming set it to connect to the shared HDD on the first box?

No. Does not work for me. When I choose network shares all I see is my ethernet based My Book Live. It does not see usb hard drive attached to second SMP.
