Used Smartware to backup but cannot see files easily across devices

Greetings,

I just backed up a desktop and laptop using Smartware but cannot see any files across devices - computers or iphone/android - What step am I missing? Thanks

What share did you back them up to? See image below, no other images are used. I am using this image from a prior post I made.

Does your WD My Cloud show up in your network?

Did you download the My Cloud desktop app? If so what is showing when you open it?

Thanks - I left it as backing up to Smartware (assuming it would be visible) - Both computers are set that way - When I view it using the desktop app, it is several folders deep in Smartware.

I was hoping for more of a Dropbox experience across devices - Is there a best way to set up for that experience?

I haven’t tried dropbox but below is a image from my computer and you can see when I click on my Horace share, the folders I have there are right below it. When I open up SmartWare where I backed up both my computers it takes several steps to reach the actual folders.

I have to go through the same steps on my cell phone to get to my files.
